The Bedfordshire Steam & Country Fayre is held in the picturesque setting of Turvey House, a Grade 1 listed Country House, set in established parkland on the River Great Ouse. Built in 1792 and remodelled in the mid-1830s, the house provides a magnificent backdrop for the event.

Attracting over 20,000 visitors each year, the Bedford Steam Engine Preservation Society aims to give an insight into country life at the turn of the 20^th Century when steam was in its heyday. Many working demonstrations are taking place wherever you may care to roam around the Park.
